Watershed Cleanup Donation day at MOM’s Organic Markets was a huge success. Despite the dreary weather, shoppers showed up in droves to make their purchases count toward the watershed clean-up fundraiser where 5% of all purchases were donated to Gunpowder RIVERKEEPER. Staff and volunteers of Gunpowder RIVERKEEPER were on-site at Lutherville/Timonium and White Marsh where we greeted shoppers, provided information about the event, our local watershed, distributed stickers, and collected emails to expand our network of community support.
