Saturday, June 14th, for the Snakes on the Dundee Snakehead Derby at Dundee creek.
Thursday, June 19th, closed for Juneteenth.
Friday, June 20th, for an external training exercise.
June 28th to July 7th, closed due to staffing shortages.
Nature Center Scheduling
Though the open hours of the Sparks Nature Center have been more consistent than they were in the past, it can still be difficult keeping the nature center open with staff members that are limited in number and availability. Staff members can get sick, suffer from transportation issues, and/or have more pressing responsibilities, all of which prevent them from running the Nature Center. As such, the open hours of the Sparks Nature Center have to be planned around staff and volunteer availability and should be expected to change semi-frequently.
