Aidan Darling, a rising Junior at Skidmore College, is joining Gunpowder Riverkeeper in summer 2025.
At Skidmore, Aidan has studied Environmental Science, and he is particularly interested in environmental engineering as a sustainable solution to environmental problems. Coming from a liberal arts background, with interests in Spanish and art, Aidan brings an interdisciplinary approach to equitable watershed management. He will work on water quality monitoring and community outreach at the Sparks Nature Center. Skidmore College’s Summer Experience Fund will sponsor Aidan for his time at Gunpowder RIVERKEEPER®.
