Baltimore County Planning Board Meeting and Public Input Meeting on Data Centers: May 21, 2026

The Baltimore County Council’s recent resolution on data center construction required they solicit public input before they submit their report in October. The public input meeting is coming up! Meeting Details:

  • 4:45 p.m. Board Meeting
  • 5 p.m. Public Input Meeting on Data Centers

County Council Bill 3-26 requires the Planning Board to submit a report on Data Centers to the County Council by Thursday, October 1. Ahead of the drafting of the report, the Planning Board will hold a Public Input Meeting on the topic.

The Public Input Meeting will be hybrid, and participants may attend in person or virtually.

To register to speak, please email the following information to Taylor Bensley at tbensley@baltimorecountymd.gov:

–    Name
–    Phone Number
–    The organization you are representing, if applicable
–    If you plan to attend the Public Input Meeting in person or virtually via Webex

You will receive an email confirming your registration and speaker number. 

Speakers will be taken in the order in which they signed up and will be given two minutes to speak.

Written testimony may be submitted in addition to or in lieu of verbal testimony. Written testimony may be emailed to Taylor Bensley at tbensley@baltimorecountymd.gov, mailed to the Department of Planning, or hand delivered to staff. Email is the preferred method of submitting written testimony.
