Julie Krastel is a student at York College studying Civil Engineering with a minor in Sustainability and Environmental Studies. As a lifelong resident of Maryland, Julie has a passion for protecting local waterways, and joins Gunpowder RIVERKEEPER® as a volunteer to help protect and restore the Gunpowder Watershed. Julie has already gotten started with volunteer work, taking part in the Chesapeake Bay SAV Watchers Training, and looks forward to learning more and getting involved!
