Hi! I am joining Gunpowder RIVERKEEPER® as a YCI member. I am a senior at Hereford High School and am a member of the cross country and track and field team. I joined Gunpowder RIVERKEEPER® to learn more about my local environment, concerns its facing, environmental policies and hopefully help me to figure out what I would like to pursue in college. Environmental science has always been something that interests me. Throughout high school I have taken lots of science courses including AP Environmental Science. It was a class that I greatly enjoyed and was interested in continuing my knowledge of the subject. I am excited to be a part of Gunpowder RIVERKEEPER® and YCI to learn more about what we can do as a community to conserve and protect the environment around us.
