Damien Emory is from Harford County, Maryland. They are a participant in the Service Year Option, which is provided by Maryland’s Department of Service and Civic Innovation. Gunpowder Riverkeeper employed them to help out the Sparks Bank Nature Center.
They are a graduate of North Harford High School and have studied subjects such as Global Imaging Systems, Advanced Graphic Design, Marine Biology, and Zoology. They are passionate about advocating for the natural world and aim to protect it for future generations. Additionally, they have a strong appreciation for insects, reptiles, and marine life. In their spare time, they enjoy playing open-world exploration video games, experimenting with various art mediums, and cooking dishes from different cultural backgrounds.
